We take great consideration in creating balanced, unified, aesthetically pleasing sustainable landscapes. It is vital that any design for a landscape satisfies the needs of the client and all the future uses of the space. Master Planning
This form of planning produces a comprehensive design of the entire property and often includes several phases of installation. A master plan provides a cohesive design for the site that can be implemented over any period of time. |

Spot Plans
A spot plan includes a smaller, more focused area of your property. This process commonly includes a planting plan, patio, pond or landscape lighting. One benefit of using spot planning is a savings in initial design cost. |

Basic Design Process:
Consultation - A complimentary consultation is necessary to discuss and assess your design needs. At this time we can provide you with a contract for design services. Upon receiving payment, we will add you to the design schedule.
Site Analysis - In this beginning phase we are looking to have a full understanding of the site and existing conditions. At least one site visit is needed to perform a comprehensive analysis of site conditions, survey uses of space, gather measurements, establish elevations and take pictures.
Schematic Design - Next, we look to pull together client desires and functional uses with consideration of site conditions. This phase is often called bubble or cloud diagramming.
Construction Documents - During this time the design shall be drafted as a computer generated plan. All design elements shall be included. Detailed landscape sheet shall be drafted to locate materials and elements on site. Upon the completion of the work, one meeting at Scott’s Landscaping’s office shall follow to provide a presentation of the plan, final selection of materials and information on installation.
